Pima County Public Library issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.
Looking for ways to read more in the new year? Or maybe looking to find companionship with people who like reading the same way you do, but still hesitant to venture out into the world? The Library’s got you covered! Join a virtual book club! We have clubs hosted out of a library near you, or you can jump into one of our theme-specific book clubs that are open to all. Not sure about joining in for monthly meetings? We’ve got ideas for that, too.
Keep reading to see the various ways you can read with the library this year!
Join a general book club
Before the pandemic, many libraries held book clubs for their local customers. Some have transitioned to doing their clubs online, and you can hop into a book club from your home!
The Northwest Readers Book Club is based out of the Nanini Library, and reads fiction and nonfiction for adults. They’ve announced their books for the next six months, and meet on the third Thursday of every month from 2-3pm.
