University of Arizona Athletics issued the following announcement on Dec. 24.
The Arizona men's basketball game against Washington that was originally scheduled for Dec. 2 and then rescheduled for Jan. 25 has been rescheduled again. The game is now slated to be played on Jan. 3 in the McKale Center, with tip-off at 6:00 p.m. (MST). TV designation will be announced once it is available.
This date became available when the Wildcats' games at UCLA (Dec. 30) and USC (Jan. 2) were postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the UCLA and USC programs.
Fans with a ticket to either of the previously scheduled Washington game dates will be able to use their ticket to the newly rescheduled game on January 3. For any questions, please email catsinfo@arizona.edu or call 520-621-CATS.
Please note: The McKale Ticket Office is observing the University Closure and will be closed until January 3, 2022. The McKale Ticket Office will reopen Monday, January 3 at 9:00 a.m. MST. Emailing catsinfo@arizona.edu will provide the quickest response.
The Lute Olson Tribute was originally going to be part of the Jan. 25 game with Washington. With the date of that game now being moved, the tribute will not be part of the Jan. 3 game against UW, but will be part of a future game this season.
