University of Arizona Athletics issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
In its final exhibition game of the season, Arizona Women's Basketball put on a complete performance against Arizona Christian, dominating the Firestorm 110-39 inside McKale Center on Friday night.
Freshman Madison Conner led the team with a game-high 18 points followed by fellow freshman Gisela Sanchez with 17, as they combined for eight of the team's 15 three-point field goals.
The Wildcats harassed Arizona Christian defensively all night forcing 32 turnovers with 26 steals and four blocks while only allowing a 27.9% field-goal percentage. On those 32 turnovers, the Cats scored an astounding 54 points.
Arizona was also dominant on the glass with a 46-28 rebound differential in the game and the Wildcats' bench outscored ACU's bench 71-16 on the evening.
Cate Reese grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds with seven coming on the offensive end while Lauren Ware grabbed seven boards.
