Tucson Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 7.
5 years ago, Officer Robert Cummins passed away from injuries he sustained while riding his motorcycle back to Tucson from Phoenix, AZ.
Officer Cummins had served ten years with the Border Patrol prior to becoming a Tucson Police Officer for nine months.
We honor and remember Officer Cummins' life and service to the City of Tucson.
