Pima Community College issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
Pima can help military veterans prepare for the FAA A&P exams with its noncredit Part 65 – FAA Airframe and Powerplant Exam Prep course.
Experienced mechanics with an approved FAA Form 8610-2, Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application may enroll. The course costs $1,600 and is approved for U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army COOL, and WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) funds.
The next course is Sept. 20-Oct. 14.
