Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Yuma County UPDATES - July 26, 2021

Yuma County Health issued the following announcement on July 26.

Yuma County Health Officials confirm 15 new cases of COVID-19 and 0 new deaths, bringing the total cases to 37,465 and total deaths to 852. Health officials are conducting contact investigations.

WEEKEND NUMBERS:

Saturday, July 24 - 14 new cases, *2 deaths

Sunday, July 25 - 13 new cases, 0 deaths

*NOTE: Based on the ADHS/County Vital Records Surveillance information, deaths reported occurred as described below:

  • 7/13/2021(1)
  • 6/30/2021(1)
The Health District will continue to provide COVID-19 vaccine clinics Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am throughout the month of July.  Only Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.   

An appointment MUST BE MADE by calling 928-317-4550 or 928-317-4687. There is NO ONLINE registration for these clinics.

The Moderna vaccine currently can be given to anyone age 18 and over. More information can be found on the CDC's website. 

The Pfizer vaccine currently can be given to anyone age 12 and over. More information can be found on the CDC's website

The Health District will also host Back to School Clinics during the last two weeks in July.  Back to School Clinics will run Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, July 26 – 30.
