Arizona State Representative Rachel (Jones) Keshel has recently shared a series of posts on her social media account reflecting on the challenges and sentiments surrounding political campaigns.

On May 17, 2026, Jones posted, “Every time campaign season kicks into high gear, the same thought crosses my mind:

Why don’t good people want to run for office?

Oh, I wonder.

Maybe it’s the mudslinging, the toxicity, the slander, the senseless attacks, or the constant slew of self-righteous idiots dunking on”.

Two days later, on May 19, 2026, she expressed support for an unnamed individual with a brief message: “So very proud of this man!!! https://t.co/WVixC9gzBc”.

Later that day, Jones commented on another topic by stating: “Funny, not funny because it’s 100% true. https://t.co/dQr2MziQHM”.

Jones is a Republican who was elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 17th House District. She succeeded Jennifer Pawlik in this role.
