Arizona State Representative Rachel (Jones) Keshel, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent the state’s 17th House District, posted a series of strongly worded tweets on September 10 and 11, criticizing political opponents and making direct accusations.
In a tweet published on September 10, Keshel addressed an unnamed individual with the statement: “YOU sir motivated this insane person. Your entire legacy was dividing America by race, religion, and any other way you could. This is an example of the fruit of your horrible stain on our great country. You should be rotting in a prison cell.”
Later that evening, on September 11, she continued her criticism toward left-leaning individuals and the Democratic Party: “You crazy leftists have pissed off a new generation of Americans and there’s no recovering from your missteps. The Democrat party is dead. #herogeneration”
In another post on September 11, Keshel made a brief remark: “Go to hell”.
Keshel has served in the Arizona State House since her election in 2023, taking over for Jennifer Pawlik as representative for District 17.
