Arizona State Representative Rachel (Jones) Keshel, a Republican elected in 2023 to represent the state’s 17th House District, has recently posted a series of statements on her social media account criticizing colleagues and state institutions.
On August 6, 2025, Jones commented on another legislator’s conduct, stating: “I agree 100%!!!
She always spent more time acting like a progressive activist on the House floor than she did a public servant.
Complete and total embarrassment.
Expel her!!!”
The following day, on August 7, 2025, Jones addressed issues within Arizona’s Department of Child Safety (DCS) and family courts. She wrote: “How many kids need to be abused or lose their lives for DCS to get it together?!!! Family Courts too!
If I have anything to say about it, your time is up.”
On August 8, 2025, Jones questioned declining enrollment in public schools. She posted: “Hmmm…
I wonder why public schools are struggling with enrollment?
Maybe woke indoctrination isn’t popular after all?”
Jones succeeded Jennifer Pawlik as representative for Arizona’s 17th House District after being elected in 2023.
