Arizona State Representative Rachel (Jones) Keshel, who has represented the state’s 17th House District since 2023, recently shared her views on U.S. foreign policy and Arizona politics through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On February 23, 2026, Jones expressed her stance on international military involvement, stating: “I’m not usually for the US getting involved in other country’s wars, but I wouldn’t mind seeing our military help to completely eradicate the evil cartel right about now.”

Later that day, she voiced support for a fellow lawmaker facing a challenging election cycle. On February 23, 2026, Jones wrote: “Representative Michele Pena has been an amazing representative for legislative district 23! In an election year that is likely going to be tough for Republicans , it is CRITICAL that Michele run alone. For the sake of our state and in order to hold onto the majority in the AZ https://t.co/di4aItXaqt”

On February 24, 2026, Jones shared a lighter moment from her personal life with another post: “My response to a wrong number today. My husband has been a very bad influence on me! https://t.co/Z0NN1aW24U”

Jones was elected as a Republican to represent Arizona’s 17th House District in 2023 after succeeding Jennifer Pawlik.
