Arizona State Representative Rachel (Jones) Keshel, who has represented the state’s 17th House District since 2023, posted a series of tweets in early December 2025 addressing political controversies and calls for institutional accountability.
On December 1, Jones expressed support for Jake Hoffman amidst allegations related to Turning Point, stating: “I hope Jake Hoffman sues every single person slandering him with accusations of embezzlement through Turning Point. This is just one example of why being in politics is so difficult for people just trying to do the right thing. Lies, slander, defamation, accusations, law fare,”.
Two days later on December 3, Jones posted a brief comment: “As it should be.”
Later that same day, she addressed concerns about the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS), writing: “It’s way past time for DCS accountability. @BlackmanForAZ @LisaFink4AZ @CarineWerner @AZSenatorShamp”.
Jones was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State House in 2023 and succeeded Jennifer Pawlik as representative of District 17. Her recent statements reflect ongoing debates within Arizona’s political landscape regarding both internal party disputes and oversight of state agencies.
