Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media in early August 2025 highlighting local events and community members.
On August 7, Ciscomani addressed students returning to school across Arizona, stating, “As August begins, students across Arizona are headed back to school. I want to wish every student a strong start to the year ahead! Stay focused, stay curious, and know that we’re cheering you on every step of the way. Have a great year! “
The following day, he paid tribute to Jerry Consiglio, a long-time Sierra Vista resident and World War II veteran. On August 8, Ciscomani wrote, “Jerry Consiglio was a true American hero and a cherished member of our Sierra Vista community. From the beaches of Normandy to over 40 years of friendship and service in Arizona, his legacy will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, Sergeant”
Later that same day, Ciscomani met with participants from an industry leadership program. He posted on August 8: “Today, I met with the impressive 7th class of the AZ Rock Products Association’s Future Leaders Program. These rising leaders are the future of the rock products industry, and I encouraged them to get involved, share their expertise, and help shape Arizona’s future! “
Juan Ciscomani has served as Arizona’s 6th district representative since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He won consecutive general elections against Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024 by narrow margins.
