Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates this week on several legislative and community initiatives via his social media accounts.
On September 16, Ciscomani announced the passage of two bipartisan bills he led in the House of Representatives. In his post, he wrote: “PASSED: Two bipartisan bills I lead passed the House yesterday! H.R. 3579 – Veterans Readiness and Employment Program Integrity Act to improve oversight of this critical program H.R. 3951 – Rural Veterans Improved Access to Benefits Act to expand access to disability” (September 16, 2025).
The following day, September 17, Ciscomani marked Constitution Week by honoring the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. He stated: “Today kicks off Constitution Week, honoring the 1787 signing of the enduring document that protects our liberties and guides our democracy more than two centuries later. This week, let us reflect on the principles that continue to guide and unite our great nation! “ (September 17, 2025).
Later that same day, Ciscomani highlighted a meeting with Jason Clark from Pinal County’s Head Start program. He commented: “For 60 years, Head Start has opened doors of opportunity for kids & families. I am grateful for their work every day. It was a privilege meeting with Jason Clark from Pinal County’s Head Start program to discuss how we can keep supporting children & families back home “ (September 17, 2025).
Juan Ciscomani began serving in Congress in January 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick as representative for Arizona’s 6th district. He won reelection against Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections; most recently in November 2024 with a narrow margin—215 votes (50%) to Engel’s 204 votes (47.5%).
