Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on social media between August 19 and August 20, 2025, highlighting legislative developments and local milestones relevant to his constituents.
On August 19, Ciscomani referenced recent legislative progress for Arizona ranchers affected by wildlife losses. He wrote, “Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act—which included key parts of the Wolf Act, a bill I cosponsored earlier this year—Arizona’s ranchers like Ben Menges of Graham County will now receive 100% compensation of their losses to the Mexican Gray Wolf. ‘It’s about time!’ “.
Later that day, he addressed border security concerns in Arizona. In another post dated August 19, Ciscomani stated, “NEW: I sent a letter urging @CBP to fund critical border projects in Arizona, which will strengthen our state and nation by making the southern border more secure. Border security is national security! Read the full letter here: https://t.co/pCzjNoSowC”.
On August 20, Ciscomani commemorated Tucson’s historical significance. He posted, “As Arizona’s oldest city, Tucson stood before America was a nation. Today, we celebrate 250 years of the Old Pueblo’s rich culture and history “.
Juan Ciscomani has served as U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 6th district since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He secured his seat after winning elections against Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024.
