Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities along the southern border and legislative efforts to support veterans’ families through a series of posts on social media.
On September 8, 2025, Ciscomani posted about visiting Nogales Station with members of the Problem Solvers Caucus: “Over the weekend, the @ProbSolveCaucus and I visited Nogales Station to meet with our Border Patrol agents, where we discussed border security progress since President Trump took office and how Congress can continue supporting the work of our agents!”
The following day, he highlighted meetings with local stakeholders during his border trip: “On my recent @ProbSolveCaucus border trip, we stopped in Nogales to meet with importers, community leaders, and the Greater Nogales Santa Cruz County Port Authority to discuss the importance of agricultural and commercial trade with Mexico, Arizona’s largest partner! “ (September 9, 2025).
Also on September 9, Ciscomani addressed federal support for children caring for veteran family members: “Children caring for veteran family members give so much, yet they lack the necessary federal support. That’s why I joined @RepMcGarvey in urging the @DeptVetAffairs for updates on the LIVE study so we can build real, lasting support for these hidden helpers.”
Juan Ciscomani began representing Arizona’s 6th district in Congress after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He secured his seat by defeating Kirsten Engel in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In 2022 he won by a narrow margin—50.7% to Engel’s 49.2%—and again in 2024 by a similar close result—50% to Engel’s 47.5%.
