Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his legislative activities and community engagements through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).
On August 21, 2025, Ciscomani reported hosting a lunch roundtable to discuss congressional updates and policy matters: “Roundtable lunch to provide a congressional update on the appropriations bills and process, the One Big Beautiful Bill, tariffs, and more. Enjoyed the robust discussion!”
The following day, August 22, he highlighted his participation at an event for realtors alongside Representatives David Schweikert and Greg Stanton: “Joined by my colleagues @RepDavid & @RepGregStanton, we spoke at the @AZ_REALTORS meeting—representing more than 53,000 realtors—to address rising housing demands as our state’s economy continues to grow & attract new residents. Great to join the largest trade association in AZ!”
Later that same day, Ciscomani attended a meeting of the National Cotton Council in Arizona where he addressed agricultural issues: “At @NCottonCouncil’s meeting in AZ, I highlighted how the OBBBA strengthens safety nets, cuts crop insurance costs, and boosts support for cotton farmers—keeping U.S. cotton strong and vital to Arizona’s economy.”
Ciscomani began representing Arizona’s 6th district in Congress after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023. He has won two consecutive general elections against Kirsten Engel—in 2022 with a narrow margin of 50.7% to Engel’s 49.2%, and again in 2024 with a margin of 50% to Engel’s 47.5%.
