Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona’s 6th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on recent legislative activities and meetings with stakeholders in a series of posts between August 12 and August 14, 2025.
On August 12, Ciscomani posted about his visit to Fort Huachuca as Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee’s Homeland Security Subcommittee. He wrote: “As Vice Chair of @HouseAppropsGOP’s Homeland Security Subcmte., I visited with @CBPAMO at Ft. Huachuca today to see firsthand how their advanced aircraft and technology, like Unmanned Aircraft Systems, secure our southern border and protect Americans. In July, @HouseGOP passed https://t.co/AfdPznFbsm”.
The following day, August 13, Ciscomani highlighted the impact of recent legislation for constituents in his district: “The One Big Beautiful Bill delivers for hard-working Arizonans across AZ06. I’m grateful for the diverse group of stakeholders who joined me today to discuss how their industry benefits from this historic new law – farmers, ranchers, small business owners, seniors, & builders. https://t.co/1qoCgYjL3h”.
On August 14, he acknowledged local media coverage during a press event: “Always nice to have the press join us. 20 minutes, 13 questions – TV, print, and radio outlets. Robust discussion, appreciate you all covering. And look forward to seeing you all again soon! https://t.co/QRcZ5bGvxR”.
Ciscomani has served in Congress since replacing Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023 after winning consecutive elections against Kirsten Engel in both 2022 and 2024. In those races he secured narrow victories—50.7% to Engel’s 49.2% in 2022 and 50% to Engel’s 47.5% in 2024—demonstrating competitive contests within Arizona’s sixth congressional district.
