Hawaii shuts out Ball State 6-0 behind former Salpointe star Liam O’Brien

On Sunday, March 1, at 1:05 p.m., former Salpointe Catholic High School star Liam O’Brien helped lead the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors to a 6-0 win over the Ball State Cardinals in an NCAA Division I baseball contest.

Les Murakami Stadium hosted the teams for their fourth meeting this season. The Rainbow Warriors had dropped their previous matchup on Saturday, Feb. 28, by a score of 1-0.

O’Brien worked eight innings on the mound and struck out seven batters.

Next up, the Rainbow Warriors will face the Cal Poly Mustangs at Les Murakami Stadium on Friday, March 6, at 6:35 p.m.
